I went to CP a couple of years ago using the dining package. As I recall, you paid for the package at the time you made the reservation like you do for CRT. Am I remembering this correctly?

No you pay after the meal and that is when you get your show sticker. Like all TS you reserve with a credit card but you can use a different credit card or points from the DP.

We are planning to do San Angel, but after reading some of the info about times/darkness, I think we will change and go with dinner for a later showing!

I booked 5:45 CP at Coral Reef for late show well I didn't book it IPO at AKL booked it -they are great!!!

I went last year the Thursday after Thanksgiving, and was lucky enough to see Neil Patrick Harris...who was fantastic. We had 3:20 lunch at Biergarten, 5:45 CP and was roughly $65/person. We probably wouldn't have chosen to eat there (I loved it but was with a picky/non-adventurous eater) but didn't book until the day before because it was a last minute trip. I would strongly recommend booking the meal plan in advance and spending the extra money if you have a popular narrator because we were still seated towards the back & the show was nearly full with other CP meal plan people and they let in very few people without reservations. Additionally, there were only 2 shows that night (5:45 & 8:15, I think) so that, in combo with NPH, led to a very crowded show.
Meal plan or not, it's a wonderful show that truly focuses on the real Reason for the season & was absolutely beautiful...Do it!

That's awesome! I really enjoy Coral Reef, but this will be our first time doing the CP.

I have the same question!

Anyway, we would love to have a Rose and Crown lunch, with the early showing. In an ideal world, I'd want the late show but that just doesn't work when you'll be with your 3.5 and 10.5 month old!

This will be our first time attending CP. Does anyone know if dates sell out super fast for each speaker if they are popular? We have our heart set on Gary Sinese if he will participate again this year. I don't know if these things sell out in hours or days.

There was a mention of the Itinerary planning office at Animal Kingdom Lodge (IPO at AKL) so I'm guessing it's not exactly a reservation yet, but they'll make one for her when they open.
