Longtime WDW goer doing Candlelight Procession for the first time and I have a couple questions I am sure the veterans on the DIS will know:

1. Is Tables in Wonderland discount accepted at a Processional dining package? I was thinking not, but I am curious

2. I have a brother who may join us for this experience, but wont know until the very last minute. I know if I have a regular ADR at a typical WDW restaurant for 4 people and I show up w 5 I am accommodated almost every time. Is the same true for Candlelight meals?

I am reluctant to add him to the reservation and show up missing a person - as the cost for being wrong is fairly steep (the full cost of the meal)

Thanks in advance for your help w these!

1: No.

2: I don't believe so. These are special dining packages with reserved seats for CP. If there's even a possibility of your brother joining you, I would make a new reservation to reflect that. As you said, the price is steep if he doesn't go, but I think I'd rather pay that than to have him turned away at the door.

It is highly unlikely that they will accommodate an extra diner at the podium. If you choose not to include him in your ADR you need a Plan B. Will you all leave and pay the No Show fee if they won't seat him? Will he leave on his own?
Personally, I would include him
Good Luck

Since CP isn't prepaid, I don't think they would charge for your brother if he doesn't show up.

They would not charge if he is unable to make it. This happened last year with my father in law and we were only charged for those of us that went.

Thanks for this info... I will prob add him then... I was reluctant to do it as I think he maybe has a 1 in 5 chance of coming... but if they won't charge me.. then I am fine w it.

We just went to the candlelight processional. We chose not to get the dinner package and went to the stand by line. You don't get to sit right front but we were center and had great seats. We ate at the boardwalk
