How difficult is it to see the Candlelight Processional without reserved seating? I'm not sure if we can afford the dining, but would really like to see this event. We are going the week of December 18.
Any thoughts on this?

We went around that time in 2003 and got a seat in the back. Just get to the show ahead of time (maybe be in that area and if there's barely a line you can shop for a little or something) and gauge the line from there.

We have been the last two years both before and after Christmas and have not done the dining package. Both times we got seats. Once we were closer to the back, the second time right near the middle. Get there early, and don't let the line scare you. The line may look long, but the theatre can seat a lot of people so you will probably get a seat. Enjoy. It's a wonderful performance.

We did this two years ago to see Gary Sinise on December 26th. We didn't do the dinner package. We went about a half hour before show time and took a seat outside of the American fast food place (plenty of seating there). We waited until the non dinner people line started moving (it's to the right of the theatre as you are looking at it). Then we walked to the back of the fast moving line and got seats in the middle and right behind the dinner package people. Excellent place to sit. We were five people. You don't need the dinner package. Nice to have but you still end up standing in line to get into the show.

I'm so glad to hear this. I was unable to get a CP dinner package today. Hoping to get a decent seat in the non package area! :wizard:

shellbelle, If you still want a CPDP, you should try again. A couple of people reported getting this result, and having success on a subsequent attempt.

Thanks for the advice. I did try a second time, but maybe third times a charm! :cheer2:
