From what I've read the CP has seating available to AP holders and people who buy a special dining package. Though I don't know the details on the package. You are allowed to stay in the park, and you can attempt to view it while standing from behind but it fills up fast and gets very crowded.
I've always watched it standing on Main St except when I had my Mom in a wheelchair and sat in that section. You're not up close to the speaker, but on the other hand a big part of the spectacle is seeing all the carolers up on the train station so a view of all of the station is better in some ways.
Now that they're going to 20 nights from 2 things could get crazier though Will be interesting to see. I don't like the idea myself - while the crowds are huge right now and it will spread that out on the other hand I'm betting the choir isn't as big each night.
Thanks folks.
Just curious, cuz we're plannin to be there on Dec 5th and 6th,and while we don't mind bein stuck in DL those nights,,,would be nice to leave at our pleasure.
For the record,,I'm Agnostic,so the the show would be good,,,nuff said.
You will have full access to the entire park. However main street will be extremely crowded. If you are not going to try to watch the CP, then I would avoid mainstreet! Enter and exit on the monorail (which will probably be crowded with people doing the same thing). If you want to see the CP, you will want to camp out early and hold a spot to see it. The last time we were there in Dec. we caught the carolers signing their way along the parade route, but did not stay and watch / listen to the entire story.
