Candelight Processional & Steven Curtis Chapman

We are going to the Candellight Processional on Dec. 11th and get to see Steven Curtis Chapman!! Will he also sing with the choir and/or solo? I read somewhere that he has participated in the CP for quite a few years.

I know that when we were there and Heather Headly was the guest narrator, she sang with the choir, no solo work at all. She had tears in her eyes as she sang...it was incredible. We'll be at CP the 11th also...hadn't even thought that there would be any solo work by Steven Curtis Chapman, but I based that on previous experiences.

I saw SCC both times i saw the CP and he didn't do any type of solo, but he did sing along with the choir on different songs. His singing isn't noticable when blended with the choir, but he's very good as a narrator. I think you'll enjoy him!

Some narrators enjoy the music and do sing along with the choir and I expect Mr. Chapman would fall into this category. However, if he does join in singing with the choir you will not be able to hear him as his mike will not be on during the songs.

I'll be seeing him and the CP on Dec. 9th, 6:45 show. I don't think he'll do anything solo, but he'll probably sing along.
