TRYING to cancel POFQ Nov 21 - 25 but I have been on hold forever! This is crazy, I just want to cancel the darn room. Is there a certain time to call that it is not as busy? I followed the prompts to cancel. should I instead follow the prompts to book, will that get me on faster? then I can just tell them I want to cancel?

Thanks, Joe! Great idea! If anybody posts POR cancellations, it'd be great to know which kind of room you're dropping - Royal Room, standard, Alligator Bayou, etc... Here's to hoping for just a bit more pixie dust!

Also trying to cancel a POR room in early October but can't get through- tried several different days at different times and on hold for over 1/2 each time- any one have a better number to call or an idea on how I can get through- I have to cancel by August 16th as well. Ugh

Did you try saying "new reservation" at the prompt? Lots of people noticed last week that that queue moved MUCH faster than existing. After hold an hour last week to try to apply a discount to an existing, I hung up, called back and said new. Got through in 4 minutes, seriously. The CM didn't even mention anything different to me. I think they are investing way more CM resources towards new revenue vs existing bookings, but I for one don't plan on waiting longer again, my money is just as good!

I called in a little after noon today and only waited about 2 min. When the automated system asked why I was calling I said reservation change.
