Hey there,
First time poster, so go easy on me! I've watched and relied (with a grain of salt) on all of the information on here. Everyone is so knowledgeable and helpful.
That said, my cruise was cancelled and I received the email from Disney that the refund had been processed on their end. I know for a fact that my bank turns around refunds within 72 hrs After receiving them. With the refund being process on the 6th, and it now being the 15th- how much longer should I wait on this refund? Has anyone else received theirs? I know Labor Day just passed and they were impacted by Irma, and are handling everything from refunds to itenirary changes, but do you think I should just go ahead and start calling- or just dispute the charges with my bank?
I called earlier and was given the transaction details about my refund. They basically said it was processed and sent back to the bank. They gave me transaction numbers and everything. For reference, everything else that was pre-paid for this trip (not through Disney- but transpiration, flights and lodging in port canaveral) were all refunded and credited back to my account within two days. I'd like to rebook soon (I know they extended the window to rebook, but I'd like to go on another Halloween cruise). With the refund taking so long, I don't feel comfortable booking it again without my refund and essentially paying for it twice in the event there is a mix up.
Basically, if your cruise was cancelled and you received the email that your refund was processed, have you received that credit? Thanks!
