We were kind of mess with this upcoming cruise. We started out as 2 placeholder cabins. Cabin A-Me, DH, DD Cabin B-Mom and Aunt

Booked Merrytime Cruise a month later.
Aunt dropped out a couple of months after booking so I moved myself to Cabin B.

Now its Cabin A-DH, DD Cabin B-Mom and Me.

PIF is in 2 weeks but mom has decided to not go. So we moved me back to Cabin A and we moved Cabin B's deposit to Cabin A. All of that is fine.

Here is where I guess I misunderstood. DH and DD's pricing stayed the same but mine is $250 more than DH. I assumed that since I've been booked this whole time that my price would remain at DH's price and not go up. I have a novice TA working on my account (a friend I was trying to throw a bone to) so I don't know if she just didn't ask the right questions or if I'm just wrong and my price legitimately should have gone up.

I just want to make sure before I PIF.

Even though you were on another reservation, adding you to your DH's room makes you a new guest in that room, and you will be priced at current rates, not at the rate when you originally booked.

Yeah, it would have been better if you had left a dummy name on the first cabin, then you could have updated that name if need be or dropped them if you didn't need to be in that cabin as of the PIF date.
