Canadian Resident Tickets available for DL!!!

It looks like they expire January 2018

The DL tickets apparently say Jan/18 but the WDW ones say "2016, 2017 and beyond... they do not expire" in the offer posted. It would make sense that it would be the same as DL.

I haven't called yet so haven't got anything from Disney directly.

I've decided to not purchase the 10 park hoppers - but to purchase 2 sets of 5 day hoppers. That way I can get in 2 trips & not worry about the tickets having to be used within 14 days from activation. There's always a work around... lol. Still a big savings either way and offsets the exchange rate nicely. :)

When I purchsed mine yesterday, will call was not listed as an option. I could print at home for free, or pay $5-15 extra for mail options. I printed at home, and have happily added it to my AP vouchers to take to the turnstiles!

Edited to add - two of our party will not be staying on vacation as long as the rest of us, poor peoples!

Awesome. Great to hear you can just print the tickets. Thanks for reporting back. Enjoy your trip!

WDW at least has had a no expiry option in recent memory.

DL hasn't had that in my memory...maybe 15-20 years ago but not that I can remember.

The fine print seems correct/to make sense to me.

Thanks. We are not going until February, but deals like this make me feel as excited as if it were tomorrow!

Good to know. When I did the math, the discounted price converted to CAD ended up being almost at par with the USD price, so it's like it pays for the bad dollar exchange rate.

Question...I think I read that if you buy it from Disney site, then it's a 'will call' type pick up, meaning you get the tickets when you get there. Does the pick up take a lot of time? (Still worth the discount, but just wondering)
The last time we went, I had to exchange some expired park hoppers and so had to do it at the main ticket booths. We did it the night we arrived so as not to waste time in the morning and it went very quickly. So if you end up needing to do that, it wasn't a huge amount of time required.

Thanks. And if we end up having to go to the gate, good advice to go on arrival day before first day coming to the park.

Hi. Bringing up this post again as I have a question.. I know that for the Canadian discount we need to purchase before Feb 28, 2017 and tickets are good until the end of the year. The discount lists 25% off, or $192 for 3 day, $210 for 4 day, $222 for 5 day.

I just read an email mentioning how tickets have gone up in Feb the past few years. With the deal, I assume it is the 25% off of the base price (i.e. so if we wait until Feb, the cost will also go up if the base price rises). Is that correct? Or are the prices listed the price until Feb 28th?

I think we're going to have to do the exchange the morning of the first day. We are getting in too late to take DD with us to a ticket booth the night before. I'd appreciate hearing about what is required when cashing in the voucher.

I'm planning to buy mine just after Christmas so we don't need to worrying about any price increase. I'm sure we'll get a few days warning of any price increases.

Yeah, that's smart. It's hard to convince DH to purchase tickets in Feb for our Aug trip (esp before flights and hotels are booked), but think I'll try and push to purchase in January. We'll need to figure out our dates by then anyways in terms of camp sign up.
