Canadian Pin Codes

There really doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to getting a pin code, honestly. There doesn't seem to be any fool-proof plan to getting on that pin code list, but signing up for anything and everything Disney that you can will at least put your name in their system - that surely couldn't hurt

I received the $500 but not 40% -- granted I own DVC now so not like those codes do a lot for me anymore.

I received the pin code as well I believe it was back in october but not quite sure I didnt know its only good until the end of March I was thinking of going again in december with the code so I guess id better call disney and see whats available, we are going may 2 to the 9th and staying at the yacht club , but I would like to stay at the poly and figured with the pin that it would be the time to do it. went last December and would like to go at that time of year again so guess I better call today!

I received the 40% off this year. I have been lucky enough to receive PINs several times. 40% in 2007, 30% in 2008 and 40% this year. The one in 2007 was mailed. The one in 2008 was emailed and I was told about the 2009 one by a cast member when I called to book my Sept 09 trip.

do the pin codes or discounts ever be used for Jan/Feb, we never received one but my DB received one at our home but no longer lives with us, and won't be going with us, so we could not use it. It was sent in Mar for weeks this year. Has anyone ever got one in the fall for dates in Jan/Feb/MAr or April. We are planning our week for Jan or Feb but i not sure if they ever release codes for then?

We had already booked our trip and I received a code via e-mail about one month ago. We added one day to our CBR stay and received a $500 GC. With the Canadian Dollar continuing to slide we are very excited to have the GC for our Disney spending money!

This was our first year to get codes and we received the 40% off, kids play and eat for free and the $500 gift card code! We used the 40% off for the Beach Club in Dec, 7 nights for $1587

I got a 25% off las year and didn't use it and about 2 months later got a 40% that we did use.

We received a 40% code a few months ago and have booked AKL for 8 days in August. Now I am waiting to see if the Free Dining pops up, and then will have to do a bit of number crunching, but either way I think it will be a great deal. The code made me book though, and we were able to get great seat sales on flights ....soooooo..........now the waiting begins until we actually get on that flight!!! So yes , Canadians DO get the codes. Good luck!

We're doing both..6 nights free dining at CSR followed by 3 nights at GF with the 40% code. Hey, it's my first pin and I may never get another so I couldn't bear not to use it!

Has anyone in Canada received one of the 40% off room discount Pin Codes.
I know some have gotten the $500 gift card, but I am curious if the 40% room discount has surfaced here.

I received my first one last year. It was for 40% off selected dates, valid for about a year and had to be booked by may. I booked my ticket and then free dining came out which was a better deal so they just updated my res.

I found out after free dining was announced and I was checking my reservation from the Bounceback that my e-mail was incorrect.

I now have it corrected. Maybe I will finally get a pin.
