Canadian Free Dining End Date?

Okay so on the Disney website it lists the free dining promotion ending on the 16th of September but when I booked our trip for the 23rd they said that free dining was still available. My mom wants to book for the same dates as ours but the CM on the phone told her that free dining was not available on those dates. Any advice?

Mousesavers says go to Disney.ca and click on the special offers tab. I would do that.

It's also possible that the free dining packages for the Canadian offer are sold out (or sold out @ your resort) and that's why you can't add another reservation with FD. Or the booking window ended.

At the disney food blog they list the free dining end date to be the 29th. That's what I thought it was. But it appears according to Disneys site that they changed it to the 15th. Any ideas why? Would my mom still be able to get the free dining if she booked on the 23rd?

Your link to the offer on the Disney Food blog is one that's been available for quite a while. In fact booking it ends today. It's very possible that it's sold out at your resort and/or for the days your Mother wants it. So, the CM would be correct that she cannot get it under those circumstances.

I didn't see any mention of Sept 15 or 16 (you mentioned different dates on your posts), but I didn't check the Canadian site for special offers. However, if that offer requires check in by Sept 15 or 16 then arriving on Sept 23 would not qualify.

If adding your Mother would not exceed the allowable capacity of your room, you could add her to your room and she would be able to get FD. If she's the third adult there would be an additional nightly fee + the same length of ticket.

We just booked yesterday and we are arriving from Ontario on the 15th of Sept and was told by a CM (via chat) that Cdn FD came to end on the 15th.

But my TA has someone arriving on the 22 till the 29th, and they got the FD? This reservation was booked before us, she tried to get us the same time frame but had no luck????
