Canadian Buffoon's Solo Disney Vacation - Update 07/08! pp99 - Here today gone tomorrow

I had to take their picture.
Which sounds really, really creepy when I put it that way.

Nothing wrong with a stalker. :rotfl2:

Photos are beyond gorgeous, much to say, but I have to get to bed. :surfweb: I spent all my energy defending some teeny tiny excuse me I must sleep with someone right now RIGHT NOW! Canadian on the DIS tonight, laughing.

I just wanted to stay I've been really enjoying reading your TR. I've been lurking on these forums for a while trying to plan my own solo trip and reading about your adventures has made me even more excited!

Looking forward to the next instalment. ☺️

I can. You just have to travel with me.

That would be a lot of fun I'm sure!!

Maybe it is. I have no idea. All I know is how it works for the Japanese.
And I was surprised that it was just a one time deal.
It just struck me. "So you love doing what you do. Well, too bad.
After a year (and a bit) you can never do it again."

It does seem a bit unfair - especially after Disney goes to all that trouble to train people etc....I don't know whose rules those are...maybe to provide more opportunities...who knows.

Cool!
How long did you backpack around?

Backpacked for about 3 months. Went to Hungary, Germany, Austria, Italy, Spain, France and England. So much fun. Wish I could do that again....maybe when my kids are old enough to carry their own giant backpacks...and walk more than a block without complaining....

Nope. Bit of a language barrier.
The doctor who came to the hotel gave me a shot... but couldn't tell me what it was.
At that point, I just didn't care.

Ugh Brutal!! [/quote]

Well… paw prints are their signatures, so you’re still right.
See…
11a8b4d75689f545952dcb67a9c7f967.jpg

All I see is that there's going to be some concrete worker who'll be really, really ticked.

Like that’s gonn’a happen.

It did!
I was shocked.

That’s a change from the last time I tried this.
It used to be that you had to walk all the way to the bottom of the ramp, make an immediate U-turn and head all the way back up. Good to see that’s no longer the case.

I remember that as well.
I didn't look a gift-horse in the mouth, though.

Would've been funny (not... well, maybe) if I got on it...
And wound up back at MK.
I really don't recall if I even looked to see where it was going!

Good round. I’ll take ‘em.
Should’a stuck with my first thought on the ride though.

::yes::

Clawing my way toward the top of the middle.

So that makes you upper middle class then?
At least amongst this group.

Got to do that on our last trip down that way.
It was blissful.

It was nice. Pretty sure this is the first time I've had the opportunity to do that.
I imagine those folks who go for much longer periods get to do that, but not I.

Captain Benjamin Franklin Pierce…
Of wait, we’re not playing the TV quote game on this TR are we?
Never mind (but that was a good episode)

Ha! I wasn't even thinking about that one.
"Goodbye, Ferret Face"

Bugger n chips…
A bit of “directional” foreshadowing

Wasn't thinking anything here either, actually.
You're giving me too much credit for deep thinking.

I'm really quite shallow.
Ask anyone!

Yeah, never mind transferring form one park to another, where’s the monorail when you really need it!
Nice consolation pic though.

 I suppose I shouldn't complain.
Which is better. No wait for transportation, or no wait for a photo.

I'll take door number one!

Wouldn’t dream of it
but I think I may have heard a few other folks…
who just happen to have a lot more points than I…
grumbling about it a bit.

(runnin’ out of time, so playing dirty has become a bit of a necessity)

 Atta boy.

One leg shorter than the other, perchance?

Egad! I do hope not. Otherwise I'll wind up in the lagoon at some point.

But (and as a Canadian you ought to already know this)…
That’s the American way.

But (and as an American you ought to already know this)...
I'm too polite to comment on that.

Remember what?

Who?

I did? That’s amazing; how do you know that?
Closed circuit cameras… A network of spies…
And when did I lean to read?

:rolleyes1:

You were four. Unfortunately, you also got stuck there, developmentally.

Well, the “UnDisers” my well think so. :sad2:

Yes, a little frisson of fear ran down my back when I posted that.

A bit like screaming “Look at me! Look at me!” at the top of your lungs.

Except less subtle?

Like...
The Upper Class Twit of the Year Awards?

I won't say that's my favourite Python skit.... but it might be.
There's just too many to chose from to pick just one.

It’s more police-box then phone box… but close.

I know.
I know!

Blue not red.
Fewer windows.
Windows more opaque.

Leave me alone! I had to segue to it somehow!

One episode? Which one?
There are a few that are really worth seeing no matter whether you’re into it or not.
Really.

Let's see.
Something about all of England is riding on the back of a star whale (or something).

Vertical?

Nib up or down?

:rolleyes1

That same general thing that happens to us every time we stop by the Japan pavilion.
We’ve got no clue about most of the nibbles and noshes so we’ll cold purchase a couple of things and give them a try.

The results can be rather interesting.

I can see how that might be fun.

Or as a purchaser of real estate…

 Good point.

Nope.
“…some are more equal than others”

Ah, yes?
How sure are you?
I'm getting conflicting reports.

There it is!

You can't keep a good sashay down.

With or without beans?

I honestly can't remember.
I'm thinking "with", but I just don't remember.

Plus you were in Hawaii at the time…
Could possibly have a smidgen to do with it.

Nope.
The shave ice in Hawaii was "shaved" whereas the Epcot one was more "chopped".
Makes a very big difference.

Hummm… I actually use that one from time to time.
Don’t know the exact reference you’re “thin-in” of…
But the conversation between Hector and Elizabeth about “nightmares” and being “in one”
is what comes to my generally busted mind.

Don't recall that particular word being used there actually.
So.... nope.

I like that actually.
That’s exactly how I treat anything I may have missed.
I know, we’re coming back at some point (by hook or by crook).

::yes:: Made it a lot less stressful.
"I HAVE to see everything! Because I'm never coming back!"

Nope. Relax. See it next time.

Like I said, I need to read that some time.

Please do. I'm rather proud of that one.

Just avoid the folks that are pumping out the extra hydrogen sulfide and methyl mercaptan and you’ll be good to go.

One cannot avoid one's self.

Heck no…
As often as I’ve thrown such types of info at unsuspecting Disers,
It’s really only fair that I take in all the excruciating details you want to add on.

Turnabout is fair play?

Thanks for the lesson!

;)

Really. You could have been so much more ruthless. That lesson was virtually painless.
Nowhere near the horror, screaming or gnashing of teeth as when I decided to inflict my dissertation about “Patience” and “Fortitude” on my few unsuspecting readers.

I took it easy on the readers.
This is not always the case.

Interesting observation…
Never thought about it.

But I too spend good amounts of time just watching them clatter around.

There's just something about it.

Good work on her part.
Very good work.

I was pretty impressed with her authority and restraint all rolled into one.

Best part.. or at least most quoted... of that movie.

The only Python bit that I truly can’t un-see or make myself watch again.

I get that. It took me a while before I could see it again.

But was it worth it?
My suspicion is yes.

Oh, yes.
Definitely.

You’re not alone, I’ve heard many folks say near the same thing.

::yes::

::yes:: and since it’s all on the inside, and a lot of it in in the “Entrance queue to one of the 360-films (which a lot of folks skip), those detailes get missed by many, many folks.

And I might've been one of them.
Except there was zero line to get in.
I think when I entered, there might have been two or three people already inside.
But that's it.

The Great Wall of Sino-Scandinavia…
Imagine the lives and treasure it cost to complete such mighty bastion.

Unfathomable.

But you don’t understand! Ok, here’s the deal. Last week Amanda told Jamie that she saw Ryan texting Amy in bio. Amy and Kara used to be BFFs so that’s soup shady. Any-who, Jamie told Kara so Kara dumped Ryan. Then Kara went out with John to make Ryan jeaulous, but she ended up liking him for realz even though Erin likes him and they chew together. Wuuut?

Oooo, and Erin unfriended you, just bee-tee-dubs…

Ah. I see you recognize the breed.

Like gigantic Zebra Domes.

I know! And then I saw that they have coconut on them...

So... nope.

“T’is better to look good, than to feel good…”

::yes:: It's fun watching the kids freeze in winter since they won't wear winter clothes.

True, you don’t have to out run the carnivore.

Just the omnivore.

Duly noted.
So, no Margarita this trip then.

Nope. Stupid of me, really.

“It’s a Small Mexico!”

::yes::

Next time try it as “Shred Mexico” and see if that don’t “Plus” the experience in a similar way.

I don't know. I'm not as traumatized by that song... yet.

You’re a wild man.

Yes. I know.
Some chose coasters, I chose Gran Fiesta.

Something you said earlier makes me think you headed back toward Japan so I’m going to avoid the obvious and say: Katsura Grill. (myself, I’d go to the Tangierine Café)

I say yes. Feeling better after a bit of dinner and hay…
It’s just a little bit more Disney before leaving.

Woooow… tough one.

How about Duffy…
Bear hugging a little kid like Pooh did you little girl all those years back.

Fifteen minutes.

Noted.

Oh, by the way…
Since you were kind enough to invite me over here (with permission granted to be abusive, even)…
I’ve started a new effort over on the DCL forum. Feel free to drop in over there and give me inordinate amounts of grief it suits you (the link is in my Sig).

Thanks for the heads up! I've marked my spot and will go back to read when I get a chance.

All I see is that there's going to be some concrete worker who'll be really, really ticked.

The kids messed it up first!
Actually I’ve always wondered who’s initials those were in that heart in the scene.
There’s a bit of serious Disney geek trivia.

Would've been funny (not... well, maybe) if I got on it...
And wound up back at MK.
I really don't recall if I even looked to see where it was going!

Transportation providence…
You were smiled on pretty much the whole trip.
(and that would have really fouled up a lot of folks travel time estimates)

So that makes you upper middle class then?
At least amongst this group.

I’m barely holding on to the last rung of that ladder in all other things.

Ha! I wasn't even thinking about that one.
"Goodbye, Ferret Face"

Frank was a good fall guy.
That episode also had a poker game in it and the conversations in those scenes were always golden.

 Atta boy.

I’m learning from some very accomplished folks in this TR.

But (and as an American you ought to already know this)...
I'm too polite to comment on that.

th7tfgxqymbhzfu9otso.jpg

Touche, Pussycat!

:rolleyes1:

You were four. Unfortunately, you also got stuck there, developmentally.

 You do have a network of spies!

I won't say that's my favourite Python skit.... but it might be.
There's just too many to chose from to pick just one.

Pick only one!
God forbid.

And STOP Groveling!

Let's see.
Something about all of England is riding on the back of a star whale (or something).

That’s one that I’ve not seen (but I’m not near as rabid about it as some to be sure).
If for some odd reason you get the opportunity though…
Here’s just a couple of episodes that are really worth the watch.

“Blink” (which introduces the “Weeping Angles”)
“The Girl in the Fireplace” (just a really fun story, that one).

Ah, yes?
How sure are you?
I'm getting conflicting reports.

H1B visas allow for rather longer stays.

Don't recall that particular word being used there actually.
So.... nope.

Since I didn’t hit on your reference, I’ll concede the points, but,
The word is in the conversation I called out.
Really…

Elizabeth : I hardly believe in ghost stories anymore, Captain Barbossa .

Barbossa: Aye. That's exactly what I thought when we were first told the tale. Buried on an Island of Dead what cannot be found except for those who know where it is. Find it, we did. There be the chest. Inside be the gold. And we took ?em all. We spent ?em and traded ?em and frittered ?em away on drink and food and pleasurable company. The more we gave ?em away, the more we came to realize'the drink would not satisfy, food turned to ash in our mouths, and all the pleasurable company in the world could not slake our lust. We are cursed men, Miss Turner .

Please do. I'm rather proud of that one.

Challenge Accepted!

One cannot avoid one's self.

Well now I know who I need to be avoiding at the parks.

I took it easy on the readers.
This is not always the case.

“Do your worst!”

I know! And then I saw that they have coconut on them...

So... nope.

Interesting just how much of the offerings in the Scandinavian bakery are chock full of such a tropical ingredient.

Thanks for the heads up! I've marked my spot and will go back to read when I get a chance.

Please do…
I need to warn Mark and Andy as well.
Y’all will certainly keep me in line.

Ah, so that's your dad. He's a handsome guy - Nice legs. Did he always were skirts or was this a special occasion.

Pretty much all the time.
The wind was his enemy.

Those outfits were adorable!

See? That's why I took the picture!
Hardly anything creepy about that at all.

We saw them last trip - twice, because my older granddaughter insisted. She loved them.

Just makes me want to see them even more.

And we appreciate your efforts. I love your pictures.

Thanks! :goodvibes

Is sashaying allowed in Italy? I'm pretty sure if it's not outlawed, it's at least frowned upon. Italians are not as laid back as Canadians. (I won't say mello, because that brings to mind Colorado and a few other states more than Canada)

It's definitely allowed. Life in Italy is waaaaaaaay slower than it is over here.
Although, yes, they might be a tad more high-strung.
That's what happens when you take everything slow, maybe?

"Thanks for the lesson!"

;)

I know. Everybody loves to watch model trains!

It's like crack!

"Pssst. Hey mister. Wanna buy some model trains?"

Who knew!

I do!

My Precious... (in that whispery raspy voice

Gollum does not share ...(in that same whispery raspy voice)

Yup. Pretty much me... at first.
Then I was like Henny Youngman. "Take my cake, please... <burp> 'scuse me."

I'm sorry, but sashayers do not... ahem... waddle. snif

They do when they eat a rice krispie square the size of his head!

Soon it was time to watch Reflections of China.
I really didn't know what to expect.
I had no preconceived notion of how good (or bad) the film might be.
Apart from the corny voice over and acting of the Chinese poet...
I really enjoyed it!

Never been. Oh sure, we've peeked inside the pavilion - and I'm pretty sure I even saw those statues - but that's the extent of my China-time. We have watched the acrobats a couple of times, though, and really enjoyed them.

So, yes. I'm sashaying over to Norway.

You got your sashay back. Good for you!

We've had breakfast with the Princesses at Akershus.

We've done breakfast a couple of times, and while I liked it, I really loved the lunch last trip. And I will do it again.

One place I had not been in though, was Kringla Bakeri.
I know that School Bread is a DIS favourite, but...
It has coconut on it.

I looked inside and thankfully didn't see anything I wanted. How unusual is that!

Exiting the bakery, I spotted something that I'd heard about,
but hadn't, until this point, ever seen.
It's not that it's all that rare, I suppose.
But it is a little bit elusive.
The (semi) rare stilted stroller.

How do people do that!

First thing I saw was this:

DSC08855_zpsoibqut7u.jpg

I made a mental note to sample the wares once I was done looking around the pavilion.

Been there, tried that and I remember the whole day! Not bad for a cheap drunk! (I cannot hold my liquor, so normally just don't drink)

I went in.
We'd been here before too.
We'd played a Kim Possible game here.
I remember the effects at this one were pretty good, too.

DSC08857_zpsruaroahm.jpg

But we hadn't ridden Gran Fiesta Tour.

We were in there playing the Perry game, and we rode the Gran Fiesta Tour, but we didn't take the time to really look around. Someday...

Well, for those of you who managed to stay awake up to this point,
here are some bonus point questions for you.

1. The obvious one. Where did I go for dinner?
Hint. I stuck to World Showcase and didn't have an ADR so did a Quick Service.

2. Do I watch Illuminations?

3. Which character do I see do something that makes me smile?
(It's a long shot, but if you guess what that something was, you get more points.)

4. How long do I wait for the bus when I head back to the hotel?

1. Sommerfest
2. Of course!
3. Snow White. She blew a kiss.
4. 25 minutes.

Pkondz, I have been gone for a few reasons-- A. I left my job at the tv station I worked at-- and all my stuff was saved on there including my Disboard password. B. Now that I've been home, I've been a SAHM (Stay at home Mom) for my now 10 month old son.. I swear I just found out I was pregnant last week... how can he be 10 months old already?!

Nothing wrong with a stalker. :rotfl2:

You must lead an interesting life.

:rolleyes2

:lmao:

Photos are beyond gorgeous, much to say, but I have to get to bed.

So beautiful that they made you fall asleep.
Okay. Interesting complement but.... okay.

:rolleyes1

I spent all my energy defending some teeny tiny excuse me I must sleep with someone right now RIGHT NOW! Canadian on the DIS tonight, laughing.

I read that long post... haven't gotten around to commenting about it yet.

I just wanted to stay I've been really enjoying reading your TR.

Why thank you kindly!
And also, since this is your first post here (heck... it's one of your first posts!)...

:welcome: to the TR!

Don't be a stranger and drop a line or two from time to time if you feel like it. :goodvibes

I've been lurking on these forums for a while trying to plan my own solo trip and reading about your adventures has made me even more excited!

Glad I could help to get you excited for your own solo adventure.
Hopefully I've provided some info that was useful.
And if not, I hope it was at least entertaining!

Looking forward to the next instalment. ☺️

Probably in a week or so.

That would be a lot of fun I'm sure!!

:goodvibes

It does seem a bit unfair - especially after Disney goes to all that trouble to train people etc....I don't know whose rules those are...maybe to provide more opportunities...who knows.

I think it's less Disney and more government rules.
I could be wrong.

Backpacked for about 3 months. Went to Hungary, Germany, Austria, Italy, Spain, France and England. So much fun. Wish I could do that again....maybe when my kids are old enough to carry their own giant backpacks...and walk more than a block without complaining....

That sounds terrific!
And yes... totally jealous of you!

Ugh Brutal!!

It wasn't the best way to finish up an otherwise wonderful trip.
Still it did have a silver lining I suppose.
You can always read about it if you care to.
Euro trip is in my siggie.

The kids messed it up first!
Actually I’ve always wondered who’s initials those were in that heart in the scene.
There’s a bit of serious Disney geek trivia.

I did a bit of Googling and no one seems to know.
There are a few thoughts, but nothing conclusive.

Transportation providence…
You were smiled on pretty much the whole trip.
(and that would have really fouled up a lot of folks travel time estimates)

Yep. I think I did okay as far as transpo is concerned.

Frank was a good fall guy.

He definitely was. And then he got typecast, which is unfortunate.
I saw him in a snippet somewhere and he was brilliant.

That episode also had a poker game in it and the conversations in those scenes were always golden.

All the poker games were fun to watch.
I just now finished watching one of my favourite episodes.
The one where they watch "My Darling Clementine".
Which had one of the funniest interactions...

Frank: Hold it, soldier. Let me check that tray. You didn't finish your peas!
Radar: They're hard as a rock, sir. They hurt my tooth.
Frank: You're wasting food! Just look at that tray!
Radar: I can't, sir. It makes me woozy.
Frank: You didn't finish your meat.
Radar: The meat's all fat. It.. Oh, no. That's the potatoes.
Frank: Don't you realize there are people starving in Poland?
Radar: Here. You can send 'em this.
Potter: What's the problem now, Burns?
Frank: Well, sir, I'm the garbage officer.
Potter: We all know that.
Frank: And there's been a tremendous waste of food, especially rutabaga, lima beans and liver.
Potter: Is that a surprise to you?
Frank: What if the enemy got ahold of this?
Potter: We'd win the war. Tell you what, Burns. If there's any food left you think is edible, you eat it.
Radar: Here you go, sir.

Classic.

 You do have a network of spies!

Yes. And they're quite good, actually.

Pick only one!
God forbid.

And STOP Groveling!

Nobody expects the Spa... Oh bugger!

I'll see if I can remember and check 'em out.
Thanks for the tip.

H1B visas allow for rather longer stays.

Oh? No idea.
I think my best bet is to go to each "country" and ask.
Guess I'll just have to go back.

We are cursed men, Miss Turner .

I do remember that now.
But no. Not the quote I'm looking for.

Well now I know who I need to be avoiding at the parks.

Everyone knows the answer to that.
But as long as you don't go at the same time as Andy, you should be okay.

Interesting just how much of the offerings in the Scandinavian bakery are chock full of such a tropical ingredient.

"What's this white stuff?"
"That's called 'coconut' chef."
"Hmmm... let's put it in everything!"

And a little part of me died that day.

Never been. Oh sure, we've peeked inside the pavilion - and I'm pretty sure I even saw those statues - but that's the extent of my China-time. We have watched the acrobats a couple of times, though, and really enjoyed them.

Next time, take a few minutes and check out the show.
It's not bad at all.

You got your sashay back. Good for you!

You can't keep a good sashay down.

We've done breakfast a couple of times, and while I liked it, I really loved the lunch last trip. And I will do it again.

I took a quick look (just now) at the lunch menu. It looks good!
Might have to add that to the to do list.

I looked inside and thankfully didn't see anything I wanted. How unusual is that!

Not unusual if you first fill up on dessert that's as big as your head.

How do people do that!

My ankles were sore just looking at her.

Been there, tried that and I remember the whole day! Not bad for a cheap drunk! (I cannot hold my liquor, so normally just don't drink)

We were in there playing the Perry game, and we rode the Gran Fiesta Tour, but we didn't take the time to really look around. Someday...

Out of curiosity.
Did anything happen with the volcano in the Perry game?
I remember something happening with the Kim Possible game.

1. Sommerfest
2. Of course!
3. Snow White. She blew a kiss.
4. 25 minutes.

Noted.

Pkondz, I have been gone for a few reasons-- A. I left my job at the tv station I worked at-- and all my stuff was saved on there including my Disboard password. B. Well, yes. That would explain it.
How did he get to be 10 months already?
Simple.
Blink and he'll be graduating from high school.
That's what our first born is doing this weekend.

:sad2:

Don't ask me where the time went.
I have no idea.

Pretty sure I didn't miss anyone with the shout-outs.
But the computer's been driving me nuts with frequent crashes.
So if I missed someone. Lemme know!

Your pictures of WS are great. I feel like I could just touch the flowers. Thanks for the lesson.
My guesses are
1. Katsura Grill
2. You don't watch Illuminations
3. Jasmine twirling with a little girl
4. 7 minutes for a bus
-Lindsey:earsgirl:

Just thought I'd check in one last time before we head out at O'Dark-thirty. Have a splendid week, and I'll catch ya on the flip side.

I'm going to go with yes. Yes you are happy.

Yup. That's a definite happy girl there.

Hahaha looks like I'd had more to drink than I thought when I wrote that comment :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

TheLittleKatie - Epcot - 43 minutes - SE - 7 points

... YEEEEEESSSSSS :rotfl2:

TheLittleKatie - 2 points? YEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSS.

YEEEEEESSSSS!! Bonus points woo!

Beautiful picture!

Anyone expressing dissatisfaction with this alternate photo gets points deducted!

(see above :thumbsup2)

For those who don't know, I went with my family to Europe a couple of years ago.
One of the places we visited was Venice.
Everything you see in the above picture is taken from St. Mark's square in Venice.
It's a little out of order and much smaller, but...

It makes me happy that you've been to Venice :goodvibes it's one of my absolute favourite places. I hope you enjoyed it!

History lesson time!
Skip to the next paragraph if you don't want one.

The two columns that you see are recreations of ones found in St. Mark's square.
The one on the left is St. Theodore slaying a "dragon" (represented by a crocodile).
He was the patron saint of the city before St. Mark.
The column on the right has a winged lion which is the Lion of Venice and is the symbol of St. Mark.
For those of you who stayed for the lesson, simply say "Thanks for the lesson!"
and receive free bonus points.

Interesting! THANKS FOR THE LESSON!

Remember the brain dead mom who let her son play with the ropes in France
and was too busy on the phone to parent?
No?
Doesn't matter.
Suffice to say, her sister was in Germany that day.
Well, I don't know if the mom was on the phone, since I never saw her,
but she sure wasn't worrying about parenting.

As I'm admiring the clocks, this little boy,
about six? Eight? Years old, ducks under the rope,
runs up to the clocks and starts swinging his arm back and forth.
Sweeping the pendulums and counter-weights to and fro!
I stood there for a second, completely dumbfounded!
(Well, okay. I'm normally dumbfounded... but this time more so than usual.)
A CM who was standing beside the clocks, quickly intervened.
I was amazed at how gentle, yet firm she was.
She didn't touch the boy, (I would've)
but in a stern voice told him not to touch.
The mom shows up and takes the little snowflake away.

I really wish he'd broken one or more of the clocks.
Mom: "Oh, I'm so sorry. My little darling is so silly. I'm sure you understand."

CM: "No problem. These things happen... Now.
Did you want us to charge $4,800 to your room?
Or would you prefer another payment method?"

I totally remember you writing about the kid playing on the ropes in France while mom chatted on the phone.. UGH.
The CM this time around seemed to handle this very well! It's so annoying because not only could the kid break something, but if he DID break something, that CM would probably get into trouble for allowing a child to be under the rope...
And, God forbid, if a clock had fallen ONTO the kid and injured him, I bet mom would blame the CMs / the store, and not her little angel child!! :sad2:

EVERYTHING LOOKS SO GOOOOOOOD.

I haven't tried this before, but it looks like you made a great choice! I'm salivating.

I took a bite....
Oh. Dear. Lord.
Angels gathered round and sang hosannas.

:rotfl:

That's one thing where I've got to hand it to Disney.
They don't scrimp on the details.
Everywhere you look, there's another sight to take your breath away.
Or another curiosity to pique your interest.
Look! Over there! A coaster with screaming people is racing down a hill.
Over there! Lions! Giraffes! Elephants!
Over here! A fairy-tale Castle!
And everywhere, hidden Mickey's waiting to be discovered.
Quiet nooks. Loud dance parties and everything in between.
How can you not be constantly amazed at the sights and sounds
that surround you at every turn?
Right girls?
Girls?

This is a serious pet peeve of mine!!!! Particularly when people are walking around and staring at their phones.. It makes absolutely no sense to me!

Hahahah!! You're right, maybe there's a tiny chance that she can walk around Disney all day in heels with swollen feet from the heat.. but she DOES stand out like a sore thumb!!!!

At least the song didn't drive me to thoughts of suicide.

THE SONG IS THE BEST

:dance3:

1. La Cantina De San Angel!

2. NO!

3. Mexican Donald Duck! Dancing with somebody!

4. 12 minutes!

Are any bonus points available for exclamation marks and general overall enthusiasm?!?! I'M TOO FAR BEHIND. (I don't know if asking so bluntly is considered foul play, but if you don't ask, you don't get.. right?!)

(...!!!)

dkfjlasdjfladskjflsadjd. I'm so far behind. Drat.
You think YOU'RE behind Lisa? I've fallen to 30 pages back and I can't get up. The only way I can hope for more points is if Pkondzi starts handing them out for pathetically slow reading.

But I am still enjoying and reading along as best I can. It's been a very busy spring, but this Saturday morning catches me sitting on the sun out on the front balcony enjoying a cup of coffee as the street hockey game rages in front of the house. A quintessentially Canadian summer morning. Well, the coffee should probably be Timmies's instead of Starbucks.

As usual, I seem to have time to read but not comment much.
Great pics of WS! I love wandering through with no plan. That is the best plan!
Did you get a marg when you took the cantina photo?

I'm going to be different because it has worked out so well for me so far :crutches:

You got the marg, Sasha yes along back to Morocco, where you ate at Tangerine cafe. Genie made you laugh
, because he tried to sing "Let it go" (after all, he is blue so why not get him in on the craze)

It took 5 min to wait for the bus because you were tired and did not stay for illuminations (it's not the same without Ruby anyway)

Hope you're having a great weekend!
