Has anyone tried this? I know it's offered in number of major metro areas. The videos and reels are absolutely adorable and aside from the price tag, most of the local reviews are positive. I just don't know how many of those reviews are legit vs. paid...especially since I haven't seen anyone noting anything about clean ups of the inevitable puppy messes/accidents. I don't think anyone goes into this expecting a serious yoga experience, but I thought it might be a fun holiday break idea for me and my girls.

Done Goat Yoga but not Puppy Yoga. I guess we kinda did Yoga mostly it was about the goats though...

I remember when goat yoga was all the rage. I am guessing it's a similar scenario and the puppies will be the primary focus of the session. I think there's supposed to be 30 minutes of yoga and 45 minutes of cuddle time.

Somewhere had started it on my city...it's only once a month and is super expensive. I'm keen to try but it gets booked up really quickly as well.

I just tried Puppy Yoga in November and it was so much fun! I highly recommend it. We spent about 30 minutes doing yoga at the beginning. Mats and wipes were provided. The teacher led us through a whole range of movements. She encouraged us to lightly push ourselves and she offered easier alternatives for beginners. I haven't done a class since high school, but I found that I was able to do everything safely. During the yoga, the puppies were sleeping in a pen. After the yoga finished, they had the group get into a circle and spread out our legs so that the puppies could be kept together. There were about a dozen of us and eight dachshund puppies. The two handlers placed toys and the puppies in the center. Then we spent about 20 minutes playing with them. The puppies were super excited to see everyone and were climbing into everyone's laps to lick faces. Everyone was super sweet and offered to take photos of me since I was by myself. The puppies kept trying to jump over our legs to explore the rest of the classroom and at one point, I was trying to corral 5 wriggling puppies back into the circle, haha. Everyone passed the puppies around so you got to hold all of them. Then at the end, we did a cooldown on the mats and the puppies were allowed to run free. This was the funniest part because everyone was laying on their mats and the puppies would run over to lick them. We had our eyes closed and I kept hearing their little paws running past us, which made everyone laugh. We all got tons of photos and videos. We also got to see papers with the puppies' names and adoption information. Several people were seriously inquiring about adopting them, which was lovely to see. I enjoyed it so much that I am now considering getting a membership and making this a part of my weekend. Let me know if you have any questions, I'm happy to answer them.1000015251.jpg
