Can you watch Illuminations from the Beach Club, Beaches and Cream outdoor where you get Ice Cream?pixiedust:

I don't think you'd see much from there. Most of the fireworks for Illuminations are closer to the water, so unles syou are around the lagoon, you wouldn't see them. You also wouldn't see the globe. I'm not sure about the exact spot you are talking about, but I think Beach Club just isn't close enough to see much.

I agree Illuminations is a lower show, you might be able to see a few fireworks, but overall I really doubt you can see it from anywhere outside of epcot. Its even hard to see in some parts of future world.

You can definitely see and hear the fireworks during Illuminations from the Beach Club, but only the fireworks.

No.

The show itself takes place right on the surface of the water. You would be able to see a few of the higher fireworks, but that's it. IllumiNations is not just a fireworks show like Wishes is.

Illuminations needs a complete refresh. I'm stunned that people haven't pushed for that. The show is very stale.

I must be close to being the number #1 Illuminations fan, probably seen it a couple hundred times and even though I love it and don't get tired of it I've come to terms that what you say is true. The music for the show is as good as it gets, the fireworks especially at the finale are awesome but I know the section with the fountains is a little dull and is probably the section people dislike. Its still my favorite but I know a new show needs to happen at some point.

We watched it nightly from the BC villas. While you can't see the part of the show closer to the ground you can see the fireworks, and hear it.

Yes, you can. As others said, view is limited a good bit, but you still see something. We did it once, but only because we were walking that way as the show was starting, so we stopped to watch. Personally, I don't see a reason to do it as part of a plan. It's much easier to find a good viewing spot around the lagoon than Wishes, so you don't have to worry about the crowd as much.

You might see more of the upper Star Wars fireworks (over the Boardwalk)

You can see the fireworks and hear the music from in front of the BC/YC. As others have noted you can't see the globe or other effects that are low and near the water. I don't think you'd have a good view from the tables outside B&C just due to the position of the guest room buildings, but I haven't tried to see it from there. I have read other posts from people who have watched from Stormalong Bay (and they included pictures). We watched several times from a bench on the walkway near our room at YC. Even though you can't see the low part of the show, it's nice to see the fireworks and hear the music with virtually nobody else around, then have a very short walk back to the room.

Thank you all for your comments and info.. was wanting to walk from Epcot to Beaches and Cream to get some ice cream and thought if we could see the fireworks from there we would just stay, but we will eat our ice cream and head back to catch a spot.. :thanks:

We need to hang out. I try to make it over for illuminations every night that we're there.

Here's a selfie from the movie on the beach at BC during Illuminations.

The show can't be "stale" if you haven't seen it.
