I have read all of the info regarding bus transportation to and from the resorts and parks, but what about walking? Looking at the map, it seems that MGM Studios, Epcot, the Epcot Resorts, and the Coronado Springs resort are all in very close proximity. Can anyone tell me if it is feasable to walk between these locations?

There is a pathway that leads from MGM to the Boardwalk, Swan, Dolphin, Beach and Yacht Club resort area, and then into the international gateway of Epcot. I would say from MGM to Epcot, it is a good 25-30 minute walk, it is not as close as it looks. There are no paths to Coronado Springs. I guess technically you could walk there, but there isn't a path, it would be a lengthy trek, and you would be on some pretty busy streets.

Disney does not allow walking unless their is a path. You can walk between Disney Studios and Epcot and the resorts inbetween. WDW is huge, and while Coronado Springs may look close it is much further than it appears. Even the walks that are allowed such as Boardwalk to the studios are far and may be too much for some people.

We stayed at the Beach Club Villas last year. From the Beach Club it took us about 15 minutes to walk to MGM and just over 5 minutes to walk to the international gateway at Epcot. However we are young adults with no kids so we do tend to walk fast!! Either way we found it quicker to walk than it was to take the boat. You can not walk to CS though, only to the Boardwalk and their villas, Yacht Club, Beach Club and Villas, the Swan and Dolphin as they are all located around the same lake.
