Can you walk to DTD?

I'm not super familiar w/ all things disney (yet)... went a few times as a kid, and went w/ our family in 2006. Is it possible to walk to DTD from any resort? We are staying at CBR this trip, just wondering about future trips. We are a family of 5, are there any DTD Resorts that will fit our family and can you walk to DTD from them??

Can you walk to any of the parks from any moderate resort? I don't forsee us being able to stay deluxe anytime soon...

You can walk from Saratoga Springs to Downtown Disney. You can take a boat from Port Orleans, Old Key West, and Saratoga Springs to Downtown Disney. You cannot walk from any moderate hotels to any parks.

There are buses that run from every resort to DTD.

Are you asking about the off-site hotels that are within walking distance of DTD? If that is your question the answer could be yes. There are several that you COULD walk to DTD from your hotel, but the road is pretty busy and is still a hike.

Other than the resorts already named, the answer to your question is "no".

If your last Disney experience was in the 70's or 80's, you're going to be blown-away by the sheer expansion of the property (which, back in the day, was nothing but miles and miles of woods).
