Can you use SW drink coupons on AT flights booked through SW?

I booked my upcoming roundtrip Orlando flight on the Southwest website, but the return leg is operated by Air Tran. Can I use Southwest drink coupons on that leg of the flight?

Just found out through a quick Google search that you CANNOT. This seems unfair. Oh well, looks like 2 lucky people on my outbound flight will have drinks on me! The coupons expire at the end of the month so they've gotta be used in December.
