Can you use Child TS credit for Adult QS food on the regular DDP?

Dining plan question about converting credits: on the Regular dining plan where TS credits are designated for adult and child, if you end up with TS child credits left, can you use those to pay for an adult’s QS meal?

I realize this isn’t the way to maximize things, but we are not doing a TS every day so we’re hoping to get a plan for our family of 2 adults 2 kids and use some of our TS credits to pay for my parents’ TS meals. That works out, but then we will have some child TS left over. But we wouldn’t have enough QS credits and would end up paying for some of that OOP. So wondering if a child TS can convert to a QS for an adult to cover some of the adult QS meals we would pay OOP (or a child QS I suppose, although that’s clearly not a good value!)

I am finding conflicting answers on this and other boards—I actually emailed Disney to ask, but I understand even cast members can be inconsistent with each other sometimes...

Sorry I'm resurrecting an old thread-- Did you find out if you can convert these? We will likely run into a similar issue with 2 left over kid's TS credits, trying to figure out how we can use them up!

You know I never did get an answer. in the end we decided against getting the plan—in hindsight it was a good decision for how we ended up eating. We did quick breakfast in our room with groceries every day but one. We often shared QS meals, sometimes my 2 kids and I would share one single entree, like the fajita platter at Pecos Bill which is huge. Drank the free water almost always—it was hot! We also ended up cancelling one of our three character meals because by end of week we were tired and just didn’t want another huge event. So we would never have used all those credits.

We haven't gone yet, we leave in 2 weeks. I certainly plan to ask around if there's anything we can do to use them up!

From what I've read on a few other threads, its a "your mileage may vary" situation. Likely able to convert 1 TS into 1 QS or 3 Snacks, but all dependent upon the CM.

Ok. Thanks. I reworked what we were going to pay OOP for so we will use them all now.
