Can you use AT&T phone cards from Western Ports?

DH & I would like to keep in contact with home during the cruise. The cost of phoning from the ship is prohibitive, though great for emergencies. We thought we'd pick up a few AT&T phone cards but we are unsure if there are payphones close to the dock at Grand Cayman, Cozumel, and especially Castaway Cay. Are phone cards practical or should we just use the internet?

Key West... no problem there.

Grand Cayman...

You might want to consider checking email once a day or so. Easier and perhaps cheaper.

Thanks Dave. Would you happen to know how accessible pay phones are on Grand Cayman or Cozumel. We have an elderly Mom at home and she'd have to wait until the kids get home to check the e-mail. I figured that a quick phone call would serve the purpose.
