Hi everybody.

Anyone know if you can upgrade a MYW ticket to an AP? And if you do, can you get the DVC rate?

Also, if you do this and the DVC rate is actually lower (like if we'd bought a premium 10 day MYW), what do they do?

I want to know this too! We've already used 6 of our 10 days on our tickets. If we go back this year, could we upgrade to an AP and just have it backdated until the first day of uses of the passes(which was Feb. 7th). We paid more for the 10 days than the AP would have cost with the DVC discount. But I would be happy with an even swap! :)

When you upgrade tickets to an AP, they will calculate the per day cost according to what you paid for your pass. Then they will credit you for those unused days toward an AP, which will be effective the date of this transaction.

The MYW tickets actually have a value that decreases according to how many days you purchase. I believe a 10 day MYW pass works out to only around $29 for a per day admission. This makes the break even point around 14 days versus the old 8 day rule of thumb for a better value with an AP.

Definitely check with Guest Services for the most accurate information for your particular case. Good luck!!
