Can you trade pins with cm at Disney Stores non theme park areas?

Was wondering if they did or not. The stores in shopping malls etc not located on Disney property.

I have not seen the CMs at the Disney Stores wearing pin lanyards, so I don't think they're doing pin trading.

Disney stores do not trade, but any world of disney locations do. For example, there was a World of Disney store in NYC that did pin trading. They relocated several blocks away to times square and reopened as a Disney store and no longer do pin trading.
