Can you top this tip?

Go during the "value season". Then you wil not have to get up for rope drop.
:thumbsup2 ::yes:: We are not morning people in the first place, and coming from two time zones west of Florida, getting to the parks by 8:30 sounds even less appealing. We're usually there around 10:00 though, and manage to ride/see everything we want at a leisurely pace, and that includes multiple rides on our favorites.

I doubt dd could have ridden Space Mtn 15 times in a row with almost no wait during high season, rope drop or not! ;)

Get to the park at rope drop!
I can't think of any single tip that has been more valuable over the years. Can you top that tip?
Nope, nobody can top that tip as it's easily #1, followed closely by "LEARN THE FASTPASS SYSTEM TO PERFECTION"!
:thumbsup2

We do rope drop, tour until after lunch and then spend the afternoon at the resort.

This has been our best tip- then we head out to a different park (usually Epcot) for the evening. A nap/ swim/ rest in the afternoon keeps everyone charged up and happy!

That's just the way we roll! :rotfl:

I remember one tip I read on here that still sticks with me...

When buying an ice cream, observe first then choose the line where the server gives the biggest scoop.

We're the opposite. We go to evening EMH and the later the better!!

Magic Kingdom from midnite to 3am is a BEAUTIFUL thing!!

We "might" make it to breakfast at another resort by about 10:30 am, then we go back to the campground and go "looping" on the golf cart, then it's nap time, then it's time to go fishin' in the canals for a bit, then we go off and have dinner somewhere, then off to late EMH.

If there's no late EMH anywhere, then we go to the beach at the Fort and watch Wishes and the Electrical Water Pageant.

Best Tip, especially now!

Best tip - "Buy DVC'

If you go every year, it pays for itself in a fewt trips.

I agree - rope drop is the best tip ever!

We, too, then leave in the afternoon for a swim/rest and hit it again in the later afternoon/early evening. It makes everyone happier in the evening.

We can't do rope drop every day without hitting the wall. We ususally sleep in every third day or so.

my best tip is before your trip, save your change! Then go to a dollar store, buy a pack of coin sleeves, sort it, take it to the bank! With all the change we have saved so far (about $60), we're estimating saving AT LEAST $5 by not using a Coin Star machine. We've still got a few weeks to go so who knows how much change we'll have by then!

Get the Park Hopper is a big one for us! Love to do one park in the morning, rest or do some shopping in mid afternoon and then do another park in the evening.

Don't want to be stuck planning one whole day at each park...like to go where we want when we feel like it!! :wizard:

As a former bank teller, I can tell you nothing pi$$es of us off more than that!:rotfl:

I am aware but I don't really care that much if it's saving me money...especially when it's your job. At least we're sorting it and not just bringing it all in a big bag.

How else are you supposed to get your change converted to dollars? Isn't that what your bank is for? Don't businesses bring in rolled coins each day? So why can't individual customers?

Book planning recommendations.. The Complete Guide to Walt Disney World 2009 (when is 2010 coming out.. I'm ready for it :thumbsup2) and Passporters

To try Boma even though we're sort of picky eaters (it was wonderful!)

Get tickets for MNSSHP even if your adults (what a blast!)

Some banks have a coin counting machine that you can use for free. I know mine (NC State Employees Credit Union does) It is not worth the time I will waste rolling to roll the coins, but that's just me.

BTW, what is the picture in your siggie of? I know WHO they are, but what are they doing?

I am pretty sure we don't have anything like that in Indiana but it's fine because I honestly enjoy sorting them!

It's a photo of the cast of LOST on the Tower of Terror! I have no idea how they got such an awesome photo but I love it.
