Can you tell me about St petersburg (pie) airport

We are flying into that airport. Is it hard to get to the luggae and rental cars. How far is it from WDW?

Its extremely small, easy to get around and get luggage and rental car. About 2 hrs from WDW up I4. I actually like the little airport.

It's a great little airport with most of the major rental car companies in the terminal or nearby. It's directly across Tampa Bay from Tampa International Airport, so the driving time from PIE to Disney is only about 15-minutes longer than TPA. 4-lane SR 688 east leads you to I-275 northbound which connects to I-4 in downtown Tampa for the ride over to the Orlando area. Very simple; can't get lost. I-275 traffic can be a mess at times but if flowing smoothly the travel time to Disney is less than 2 hours.
