can you take the hotel pool towels to the waterparks?

Towel rentals at the water parks just went up to $2 per towel. They are also on the small side. We bring our nice big beach towels with us. The kids carry them on the plane and use them as blankets. They find the planes to be cold.

Don't waste time renting.
We always take the hotel towels to the waterparks and then return them back to the hotel . Never a problem.

Absolutely! No need to pack towels from home or to spend money renting them at the water parks.

I have asked many times over the past few years and have always been told its ok to take the towels from the resort to the water parks

but...

They prefer you to take the towels from the pool not the room,
They prefer you to return them to the return area at the pool rather than leave them in your room.

and...

They prefer you return them to the resort and not leave them at the water park.

Apparently the room towels and the pool towels are washed separately to deal with the chemicals.
