I am not sure where to post this because it is a MDE question.
I want to surprise one of my children with a quick trip.

She has a MDE account. If I block her from seeing my plans she can still see our shared plans. I know people on here have written about surprising people with trips.
Does anyone know a way that I can book fast passes for us without her being able to see them?

Interesting question. Her magic band would have to be linked and there would need to be an active ticket to book the fast passes, and the system may send out an automatic email alert for that.

There are no emails sent out when someone makes a FP+ selection for a connected family/friend member.

She would only see the plans if she logged on to her MDE account.

Create separate new "dummy" gmail/yahoo/free email account for both of you & set up from scratch that way. You can always delete the account after. Otherwise she will most likely see something.

Just one question :
If she doesn't have a clue why would she be looking at her MDE account? I know I don't unless I'm planning a trip.

We have another trip set up in the fall. I am hoping she won't look but this trip is planned after the 180 mark so she might check to see if I made dining reservations.

I spoke to someone in IT at Disney. He said Disney has an "official policy" of not getting involved in surprises because there are too many notifications that get sent out.
He said once I create fast passes she will be able to see hers and there is no way to prevent it.

Having another trip planned does change everything,of course she'll be looking.
