Can you still pick up tickets early?

I am helping a friend plan her first family vacation. Their first two nights they are at the Swan on business, and then will hop over to BC for the last four nights of their trip.
She purchased 6 day base tickets. I told her she can go to any guest relations outside the park and receive her tickets from her package two days early, while she is staying at the Swan on a comp stay with work.
I have personally picked up my tickets early twice, with no problem, because I had to do room only before free dining started.
I know Robo explains the process, but another friend of mine is saying she tried this last year (I did a few years ago), and they absolutely would not let her pick up her tickets early.

I don't want to steer my friend in the wrong direction...so I just want to confirm...that it is still indeed true that you can pick up tickets linked to a package up to 3 days early?

@Robo is always able to confirm the ticket portion of a package can be activated up to 3 days early.

Your friend will have to select "day of" FastPasses as soon as her tickets become activated.
