Can you still eat in The Haunted Mansion?

Heck the ghosts would NOT like that at all!

never heard that one before

At Disneyland, there was a special event where you could eat inside the Haunted Mansion and it took place when the Haunted Mansion was decorated for the Haunted Mansion Holiday. The special event cost A LOT obviously. They did it for a couple of years but I don't think they're having it again.

That would have been awesome!

This thread made me LOL!

I believe Disney does rent it out for certain private parties, such as conferences held at WDW. My brother had dinner in there at a conference.

I was at a conference at the Dolphin in 2001 and the sponsor rented HS for an evening. We had a buffet dinner on the streets of America.

Yes they have had special events for private parties. Wish I was there. We had a private party at Coral R:lovestruc eef. It is upstairs from the restaurant and we had our cocktails etc in front of the tank. It was very cool.

It WAS true that not so long ago they would have special private parties in there, including meals. I have friends who went to one.

It's apparently no longer available, though.

Pictures or it didnt happen! jk Though I would love to see pictures!!!! Someone had to sneak a pic!

There was a Happy Haunts Ball a few years ago in the Haunted Mansion at Disney World. It was a full dinner & I think it was around $200.00 a per person. It was open to the public if you were willing to pay. I'll see if I can find any info on it.

Here's the official Disney Link It was in 2004

I wish Disney still did this!

They do have wedding receptions there as well.

Only private parties and wedding receptions (and even that is only occaisonal).

I would hands down pay that price though it would probally be over $500 a person if they still had it today.

1) They used to have holiday dinner parties.
2) But, they have halted these.
3) It seems the menu items were not to everyone's liking.
. . . Apparition Aperitifs
. . . Spider Stew
. . . Ghostly Goulash
. . . Monster Mutton
. . . Spooky Spaghetti
. . . Roast Beef au Choo
. . . Ghastly Gravy
. . . Sheet Cake
. . . Poltergeist Pudding
. . . Coffin Coffee
. . . Vampire Vino
