can you still call rooms control?

We are going to the Poly 3/30 and I was wondering if you can still request specific buildings and or room numbers. If so, when do you call them to do this?

You can still contact the room controller and request certain room numbers or locations. It is better to request a location rather than a specific room number. If you request Tokalau, Rm 3126, the controller really has no idea what you are looking for. But if you say non-smoking, 3rd-floor with a balcony, they have a better idea of what you want. List the importance of your request in order, if a balcony is THE most important thing to you, write balcony, non-smoking room.

The room controllers can be reached by phone or fax, the phone # is 407-824-2000 and the fax # is 407-824-3174. The rooms are assigned 3-4 days from check-in so fax or call your request in then. If you fax, make sure you write Attn: Room Controller so they are sure to get it.

Finally, remember that these are requests, not gurantees, don't get your heart set on a balcony room and then be disappointed when one is not available. If you really want a lagoon view, book a lagoon view. I'm sending you pixie dust anyway. Hope everything works out, have a great vacation!!
