Can you still buy VWL

I posted this under a different topic but thought I'd make it its own question!!!!
I put a call into to my rep because we are still considering buying but really want Wilderness Lodge Villas, she hasn't called back yet!!! Are there still points available or are they sold out? How often do they come up and at what price, do you pay the going 80.00 per point, or is it lower??? thanks looking for 150-200 at VWL!!!

DVC originally planned to offer VWL contracts only to existing members after Feb, 2002.

From a recent post, it appears that they may have modified that policy recently.

I'd suggest contacting your guide again to let them know of your interest in VWL. Don't be surprised if they are NOT actively offering contracts at VWL. I suspect that any new contracts at VWL are few and far between.

Any points sold by Disney will be at the current cost per point ($80- soon to be $84). There may not be any discount program available at VWL however.

I just spoke to a DVC Sales Rep on Fri. and was told they have a limited quantity at Wilderness Lodge available direct through Disney. You may want to call and find out more.

We were just at the World last week, took the DVC tour, and were offered points at VWL and BCV. So seems like they are still offering VWL.

My friend just called me to tell me that she purchased 100 points at VWL and 150 at BCV today. She was all ready to buy 250 at BCV but when she mentioned to Byron that she had previously stayed at WL and loved it he offered her points at VWL! She was thrilled because she loves both locations! If VWL is what you want, definitely contact your guide asap.
