Well - we are set to leave for our much needed WDW vacation 1 week from today. My DH just came back today from a 2 week business trip overseas and has traveler's diahria (SP) and a slight fever which I've determined is a symtom of that as well. If you've read my previous post you know it's been a long 2 years here for us with a move that never happened and both my DD's battling major ear infections and having tubes, etc.

Please say a prayer for us that DH feels better, that we don't get sick and that we can go on our magical vacation and enjoy being "a family" for a week.
Thanks!:worried:

bucket loads of Pixie Dust headed your way sweetie!!! I know your pain, every time we go to WDW something happens too. At xmas the car died that morning, in Oct we ran out of oil for the furnace, in March we had the flood in the basement and I had DH turn the hot water heater off cause it was leaking a bit. Yeah, came home turned it on and it was like old faithful gushing in my basement again.

I hope he feels better soon! Did he go to the DR?

Arrrg! Doesn't it always happen! 3 out of the 4 of us got really sick AT WDW  but at least we were already there. :grouphug: Hope Dh gets better - and that none of you get it!:wizard:

I'm thinking about all of you! P & PD to you all. Take it one day at a time. Make sure he drinks a lot of water and that you guys all wash your hands a lot. Take a deep breathe. Soon, you'll be walking down Main Street! :)

Pixie dust for everyone to get well, and soon.

If you are flying down, make sure you bring wipes to wipe down the armrest and trays on the plane. Tons of germs there.

Thanks for all of the well wishes! He said he is feeling a little better today. Still tired from the jet lag and missing sleep over a 48 hour period due to the time change. He was in Japan, China and last India which is where he got his "Travelers Yuck" I searched on the internet and it can take 3 days to a few weeks to get over it. It's not as bad as they say it can be so hopefully he will be better by Sat. when we leave. I know he's looking forward to eating some American food and wants this to all pass. Worst thing is my DD 7 is a "Daddy's Girl" and is heartbroken that she hadn't seen him in 2 weeks and now he's sick and can't do anything with her. He did manage to play a video game with her and she read him a story (we have to have her read to us daily for school) Thanks again - all the prayers and pixie dust seem to be working - keep them coming!:goodvibes
