I've had a couple of truly unedible meals at counter service places in WDW. If truly unedible can you take it back and trade for something else if on the dining plan? Anyone tried this?
one time I had ordered the shrimp / fish platter at Columbia harbor house and the fish was ice cold inside. I took it back, they offered to replace it or I could order something else. No issue at all except the disappointment for me in the meal
I would be surprised if they wouldn't exchange for something else. I had a horrible experience at Pecos Bills in 2011 w/a burger that was barely warm & had a feezer burn after taste. But I did not bring it back b/c it was so crowded at the time so I just ignored it & ate some fries.
In June 2013, DH ordered the chicken sandwich at Pecos Bills and forgot to order it plain. So he took it back and asked for one plain. Apparently they were out of chicken sandwiches and people were waiting on them so he ended up with a cheeseburger. Management and employees were very nice about it. No problem.
I had to send something back before and it was not a problem. Like others have said, I could order something else, or they would make a new one, no big deal.
