Can you sell Fastpasses?

:thumbsup2 How about just leave them for someone who needs them and refrain from being greedy and cheap.
:rotfl2: :lmao:

it's possible that the OP is a kid and doesn't know any better

Honestly there prob is a market for the selling of fastpasses. I find the practice unsavory and quite disturbing. At least with the stollers people are paying for them then selling them to others who are already going to buy a stroller at a discount. With the fastpass you are selling something you got for free, not cool.

Hey Max...good question...welcome to the DIS. Disney frowns on this activity, however in a market based environment, people are often willing to pay for things that meet their demands. So lets say you have a FastPass for a 4pm appointment to Space Mountain, and Space Mountain's FastPasses are sold out for the day.

The question is anyone willing to pay for a spot in the front of the line, or would they be content to wait it out? How much is their time worth?

I would gladly pay you 10 bucks for it in the scenario above.

Apparently others in this thread would not, given the same scenario. And to those who say "Its FREE"... :rotfl2: Yes, you didnt pay a dime for it when you were shelling out a thousand bucks of your vacation fund on Disney Tickets alone.

Max...the worst someone could say is no....never hurts to ask a simple question.

I would be very concerned if a CM heard you hawking your tickets and you got escorted off WDW property. What a way to ruin a trip.

Geez people .... talk about needing to spread some pixie dust .... lol

Sorry if I hit on a sore subject.

With as much time AND money as I see being put into touring plans, research, guidebooks, etc., all in an effort to cut down on wait times, it seems to reason that some people might be able willing to spend a few extra bucks to hold multiple Fastpasses at the same time.

Heck, I bet if Disney sold extra "bonus" Fastpasses (that wouldn't count against the Fastpasses you acquire at rides) near the gate, guests would be lining up in droves to have at them.

But then again, perhaps you guys like sprinting from one side of the park to the other at the start of your theme park day. Oh well, to each his own.

And, if they are indeed non-transferable, as one helpful poster suggested, this is all a moot point anyhow.

Just though I'd ask. Thanks for the "friendly" advice. :rotfl2:

Pixie dust for everybody!!!!

Right, we wouldnt want to get in the way of the "Disney Snake, here we go again thread"

I find that the disney snake will be CRUCIAL to my future visits to WDW.

Perhaps the mods should do away with such silly questions, and devote this entire thread to the Disney Snake.

I had two fast passes for RnRc. We had just finished eating and I was full so I decided not to ride it. I did not want to waste my fp so I went to the front of the park and looked for someone who I thought would really enjoy RnRc and were a group of 2. 2 college age men came into the park. I asked if they wanted them. They were so excited and kept thanking me. Talk about the warm fuzzies I felt inside. :flower1:

I guess the only thing more ridiculous than selling fastpasses would be the person that actually buys them. In over 60 trips to WDW, we have never "sprinted" anywhere. I guess the OP does not fully understand how FP works, so there is no need to sell them.

I have had fastpasses that I could not use and have given them away. I actually had a hard time giving away fast passes for TT last year :confused3

I do have to say that I would definitely be interested in purchasing an extra couple of fastpasses FROM DISNEY for certain rides (Soarin' & Splash most noteably) if they were available!!! I don't see myself purchasing from some random park guest trying to make a buck off of them :sad2:

"Can you" and "should you" are two different things. I'm sure if FPs are gone for the day you can find someone willing to buy them from you. Doesn't mean you should though.
Plus, if they say, "not for sale/resale" on them, then you shouldn't do it. Just because ppl do it with the strollers doens't make it right either.

I'd be tempted to report you to a CM if you tried to SELL a FP to me! I don't think Disney would look too kindly on that...

We've been given FP's before, and we would give them away too. Why would yo usell something you got for free?! Disney is expensive enough as it is!!

You people kill me. You have no problem with Disney taking all your money, but if it's a "some random guest" it suddenly becomes sad and greedy.

Hey, if it's against the rules, it's against the rules. But let's be honest ... if you have a problem with people trying to separate you from your money, why are going to Disney World in the first place?

Thanks for the laughs, everybody. :rotfl:

I agree, BamaFan. And that's all I was asking.

Instead I got the Dis-Inquisition. :rotfl:

Oh well, you gotta love mob mentality. ;)

Plus...I think the pixie dusters would have been good just to say...

"Sorry Max, Disney doesnt allow this activity"

Instead everybody piled on you. Very nice hospitality.

It was an honest question. Regardless if you agree with the question posed or not. A simple, "That probably isn't the best idea." would have worked just as well. If it goes against Disney policy, then don't do it.
I have seen people trying to sell much stranger items, so a FP doesn't seem too out there. But rules are rules.
I can appreciate the entrepreneurial spirit, but giving them to someone who was not expecting it would probably make their day and yours!
:goodvibes
