Can you see what Fastpasses are available without tickets linked?

We are flying in on Thursday, September 24th arriving to MCO around noon. We have tickets for the MNSSHP Friday night before we leave on a 7 day Fantasy cruise. I am thinking about buying one day tickets so we could go to Epcot on Thursday, but was wondering if there is a way to view fast pass availability for that day before I buy the tickets and link them to our account. I know we wouldn't be able to get to the park till after 2pm, but are still thinking we would like to go, and I'd be more apt to convince the hubby if I can still get Test Track FP's=) Is the best price on one-day base tickets still through the Disney website?

Touring Plans has a FP+ availability tool in their Lines app as part of their subscription. I just checked 9/24 for Epcot and all attractions still have pretty much full FP+ availability for that date. Once you get within 30 days it will start to dwindle, but in September they seem to have availability for everything until the morning of.

1 day base is definitely still cheaper direct from disney (we have 2 day hoppers for october and I spent about 3 hours comparing sites before just buying direct).

Disney does not discount 1 & 2 day MYW tickets. UT and other authorized resellers sell them for more than Disney does because they paid Disney full gate price for the tickets.
