Can you see Illuminations from Chefs DeFrance?

We have dinner ressies there at 8:30 pm and will probably still be eating when Illuminations starts. What if anything will we be able to see from the restaurant? If nothing, we will be in the park other nights, so we will get to see it sometime.

If you are sat near the window then you can see it from inside but it depends on where you are sat.

I ate during illuminations and remember not bothering to watch it because the view was not great.

Better off watching it on one of your other visits i think

No, not really. Not even from right by a window - trees and people will be in the way for the most part.

You'll see the light from the flashes and hear the bangs and music, but don't have a "view".

Thanks for the replies. I may check to see if I can get in earlier, so we will be done by Illuminations. I just thought if you could see from there it would be nice, but I really wanted to eat there more than anything.

Changed ressie to earlier. I have hoppers, too, so I can get over there any night even if I am at another park during the day.

If you get a window seat, you can probably see the show. However, that assumes that a crowd of people doesn't stand in front of you.
