Can you see characters out of the parks?

WE are going in feburary but not going to parks because we are coming back in december to go to parks, but would love for the kids to see a character. Will I be in luck?

Character meals and perhaps child-care at the deluxes are the only 2 locations that I can come up with.

There were characters in the lobby area of the BC / YC during our last trip.



Of couse, this was the morning of Hurricane Wilma, and the parks were closed! It was great Disney did this, as it gave the kids something else to do during the storm.

Definitely do a character meal at one of the resorts...
