Can you schedule Closing Date?

OK - my DH and I are seriously considering DVC for the 4th time!! We have the money to pay upfront but some of it is wrapped up in a CD which will be up in July. From my understanding if we started now with a resale contract it would probably be July (or nearly there) before we could close anyways. Is there anyway we could specify this?

Yes, with a resale purchase you could just put a closing date in your offer. The seller can either accept or reject your offer. Some may be willing to wait until July and others might not want to wait.

Thanks Doc!! Now if someone just had a crystal ball and could tell us if our offer will be accepted or ROFL. I've been checking the ROFL posts but there doesn't really seem to be much logic there. I guess we'll just cross our fingers.
