Can you request no maid service?

I will be staying at the ASmo for 4 nights and would prefer to have no one entering my room as i will be solo this trip. I have in the pass had unwanted entrances to our room even with the do not disturb sign up and this always seems to happen when i'm in the shower and DH has left the room(they then most likely think we forgot to flip the sign) and then me in hopefully a towel followed by the mousekeeperthen as it's not a pretty sight. This is what i'm tring to avoid. I tend to use towels twice and really don't see the need to change sheets with only a 4 night stay. Has anyone ever made this request?

When you check in request that you have no maid service. You can request that clean towels be left at your door, or you can call down for what you need when you are in your room. Also don't forget the do not disturb sign.

Forgot to add. When your in your room, always use the deadbolt and the safety latch. This will keep any unwanted mousekeepers out of your room when you are in there.

I have requested no service in the past when I had napping children. Like the previous poster said you can call houskeeping for fresh towels or even to arrange a scheulded or preferred time for your houskeeping if you decide you do want it. If we needed a tidy I would call when we were leaving in the am and it would always be done by the time we returned for the childrens naps.

I would also suggest using the deadbolt and the inside lock whenever your in the room. Esp with the inside deadbolt the room can't be accessed even with a key. I travel alone with my two young dd's so I understand your concern. Have a great trip!
