Can you rent a car on Disney property and return it at the airport?

Has anyone done this before or know if it's possible? I was thinking or renting a car towards the end of our trip from Disney property but would like to return it to the airport.

I have a reservation to pick up an Alamo rental car from the Dolphin and return to MCO. It wasn't any more than picking up and returning to MCO. We will be taking Magical Express in from the airport, but our flight leaves so early on the return flight decided to just drive to the airport and drop off the car.

There's usually no problem doing this, but just let the rental agent know when you book so there are no surprises.
