Can you really wear CROCS all day long at Disney ??

DD and I wear nothing but Crocs to the parks since we discovered them. I have even worn brand new day old Crocs and had no issues with blisters.

Let me tell you-----I have horrible feet pain and by the end of the day my feet are in so much pain. However on our last trip to WDW (2/1/06-2/10/06) I wore my crocs with socks because it was kinda chilly some of the day and my feet were wonderful! By the end of the week I had to stop and think "what happened my feet aren't hurting" For me the crocs are great! Enjoy

It is me again. I forgot to meniton one other thing I did. I put moleskin on the spots I normally get blisters and it worked also. It takes a minute to put it on in the morning but it is well worth it.

On our last trip (Sept. 06) I only wore my new, Khaki colored, Crocs-with the exception of when we dined at 2 TS restaurants. My feet did not bother me at all! :goodvibes This time I didn't even bring sneakers. So for me, Crocs were great. :thumbsup2 Added benefit-they can get wet and it dosen't matter. Works great on Kali River and for the sudden rain storms.

Have a great trip!

I wore my crocs all week.......but, found I needed to wear socks.
Every morning I put body glide on my feet and then put on my socks. I also carried moleskin for hot spots. I did not get one blister :)

After me & my DD's bought some, he wanted some & went out and bought a pair last night....
He thinks they are comfy for his feet, so I guess thats all that matters.

I wore my crocs everyday on my 7 day trip (returned 10/25) I didn't even pack another pair of shoes. My feet never - I mean never - hurt at all. Last trip was sneakers and my feet killed me.

This trip we walked the parks for 10-12 hours each day and I never gave my feet the first thought. In fact, we closed down MGM one night and we were dancing to living la vida Mickey at 11:45 pm and my feel felt great. I will never wear anything but crocs to the park again. I was truly amazed.

I would love to get some Crocs but have the world's fattest feet -- literally! I usually wear an 8 or 8 1/2 WW from Easy Spirit.

Any thoughts on how generous they are in their width???

I bought crocs for my upcoming trip this past Halloween, and I've been wearing them everyday for school. They are so easy to put on, and relaitivly comfortable, but for soem reason my back has been hurting more too. Is ther any relation, or could it just be my scolosis acting up?

I'm bring two, just in case.

I think crocs are pretty wide. I'd say go to a store that sells them and try them on. You can always purchase them online afterwards if you like them :)

My DH, myself and kids all wore crocs for 8 days...never took another pair of shoes out of the suitcase and we were all fine(for me it was the first time wearing them). I guess different feet have different experiences. I know it makes a difference if they fit correctly and a croc rep told me your foot should "float" in them, meaning, 1/2 inch of space around the entire foot and to fit them without using the strap and then stretch the strap out after if it is too tight.

When I get blisters, I ALWAYS use Band Aid Blister Relief (you can get them at any grocery store). I used to be a ballet dancer, and after 6 hours a day in pointe shoes 5 days a week, let me tell you, these things work MIRACLES!

Consider this another post in support of those band aids. I brought some of the advanced band aid blister relief bandages with me to Disneyland last week. I started to get heel blisters so I stopped and put on those band aids. Omg did they work great. I had no pain the rest of the afternoon. They definitely going to be something I carry with me from here on out whenever I visit an amusement park.

Oh and let me ask y'all a question: how are crocs and narrow feet? I have fairly narrow feet and do have to worry about what parts of shoes will rub against my feet. Anyone with narrow feet wear crocs with success?

I should be safe with that.
I'm taking all the advice and figure I can switch if necessary.
Keep my feet & back happy !

From my observations, they fit better on wide feet than narrow feet.

I also have very fat feet and they love it when I wear my crocs! I just about live in crocs. I also have arthritis in both ankles and have a lot of pain but the crocs work wonders. Try it. You won't believe us until you do. I know because I didn't believe it until I tried them.

We have gone to Disney each June for the past 3 years-going back this June. I can think about blisters and get them. Last year we drove down, and just sitting in the car for 2 days I had 5 blisters by the time we got there!! I wore my croc flip-flops every day. The pain was too bad to put on tennis shoes. I loved them. It was like I was barefooted with support.

I would like to get a pair of the Cleo or Nile for this year in addition to the flip-flops. Has anyone tried these?

My husband, who has NEVER even worn sandles is going to get a pair for the trip. Also, I saw a ton of people wearing them at Blizzard Beach.

I got the Cleo's at Dick's a few weeks ago- verrrry comfy. Haven't worn them for really long periods yet, but I'm going to try them out at Carowinds this summer. They will definitely go to WDW with me this fall.

The only issue I had with them was that I had to stretch the straps a bit- I have really high arches, and most shoes with straps across the instep are too tight. After stretching them a little, they are great!

I will be alternating between my crocks and my sneakers with socks. I will be going in July, and was also wondering about the sweat. I know I don't like the look of socks w/ crocs and shorts ! I am not opposed to it though, for comforts sake.
Last year I got blisters on day 4. This year, I want to be prepared!
