We have a bunch of park tickets from 1999 & 2003 that *might* have unused days on them. Since we can't check the days left until we get to the resort, we don't really want to buy more tickets right now. But we also want to sign up for the dining plan and realize you need to also purchase at least a 1 day ticket.

So, can we purchase park tickets & the dining plan on the night we check in? If so, is it more expensive at the resort?

Thanks for your help.

Sorry, no. Unless you're staying at a DVC resort on DVC points, the Dining Plan must be part of a qualifying vacation package, reserved in advance.

You can purchase dining and a one day ticket. When you get to the resort you can check your old tickets and add how ever many extra days you'll need on your new tickets.

I believe it is three days (72 hours) prior to check in is the cut off for adding the DDP to a res.

It sounds like you have a room-only reservation. You'll need to cancel that and get a package to add the dining (and yes, a package does require a one day ticket). You can't do this at check-in, you need to do it before you arrive, at least 3 days prior.
