Can you purchase a DS gift card with Disney Dollars?

I recently received Disney Dollars and there are a few things on Disney.com I would like to purchase. I know I can not pay for it using the Disney $, so I thought that if I converted them into a gift card- I could use it online.

Will TDS allow me to use my disney dollars and get a gift card?

When I purchased Disney Dollars for a recent trip, the castmember at TDS told me I could exchange them back for cash when I returned. The only stipulation was that they would only exchange $100 a day. I don't know if this is Disney policy or just this store's policy. If your TDS allows this, you can take the cash and purchase the gift card. They may let you use the Disney Dollars to purchase the gift card as well.
