DH and I are considering our first ABD trip in 2011. There are quite a few trips that have peeked our interest, but they all seem to have one or two aspects that would not really be enjoyable to us.
The Alaska Trip and the Rocky Trails and Mountie Tails are the front runners. DH is not a fan of water, but will go on a boat, but "raging" rapids on a raft and sitting in a kayak would probably throw him over the edge. For me, it's horseback riding. I don't mind being near a horse, I just don't want to be on top of one.
When these adventures are happening, do you start and end at the same place? After any of these adventures, did you travel directly to the next leg of the trip? If that's the case, I could see that would cause an issue.
Thank You!
