Can you move luggage via Skyliner or bus?

We’re split-staying from Swan to Pop and was told by Swan guest services that they are not transporting bags at this time (normally do). 2 disney cms suggested to walk or bus from swan to HS and take skyliner (beginning at 9am) to Pop with the bags. Heard that bags are not allowed on buses nor Skyliner... please confirm?

With no direct DS buses from AK, could we bus to Sarasota and walk? If yes, is it easy to know which way to go from bus stop? Thanks

No bags are allowed on either.

No bags are allowed on the buses or Skyliner. I'd suggest grabbing a Mears cab, which should be waiting at the resort, or Uber/Lyft.

If you have more than 2 people with more than 2 bags total, you'll probably want to request an XL. Trunk space in the small cars can be very limited, plus I saw somewhere that they are not allowing riders in the front seat.

Thanks - I did see that about. But luckily we’re only 2. We will have a checked big bag and couple carryons. Hopefully not one of those little cars with half a trunk unavailable.

Has anyone done the walk from Sarasota to DS? With how rough transportation has been, it would make sense to go to SS from AK I think.

If you get off at the Congress Park stop at Saratoga Springs, it's a pretty quick and easy walk over to DS.

Should be the 4th stop, if nothing's changed. When you get off the bus, keep going straight across the parking lot to the nearest building, and keep going in the same direction as far as you can, then left along the shoreline to the bridge.

JUST KIDDING BUT Sarasota is actually on the west coast of Florida. It would be a VERY LONG walk. I think you both mean SARATOGA SPRINGS.

Worth asking pop, but it sounded like the answer may be no, they only transport between disney owned resorts right now.
