Can you make changes to your FTP?

We are planning a trip in early November and with the extended dates we would like to take advantage of the FTP. It would be our first time staying on site! However, because of school issues I'm not sure of the exact dates we can travel (I know which week, but it could vary by a couple of days.) If we have the FTP booked, can we make changes, or will we be locked in. Like I said, I've never booked a package before so I'm not sure what all the rules are. I will know for sure in late July, so I would finalize things before the 45 day final payment is due. Thanks!

I think that changing dates could be a little tricky ...especially after the booking dates are over on the 29th.

Just what I have found with past codes and such.

Good luck

I'm pretty sure that as long as your not cancelling after your payment is due in full, and there are rooms available for your new time period, you'll be able to change. We almost had to change our dates to August instead of July. When I called WDTC they told me no problem as long as there are rooms available. At the time that I called my balance was already paid, so you shouldn't have a problem. But being cm's tell guests diff. things, just call them to reassure yourself.

Haven't tried to change dates, but I have changed resorts from Mod to Deluxe 1 1/2 months after codes expire. I agree with others, as long as the dates are available, they may let you change. Keep in mind thought that the FTP is very popular and a lot of dates are already booked up.

I would call WDW today and ask this question. If they tell you yes, you may change at a later date- get all of the contact info for that person. I do not think that they will allow this type of change with the package no longer being booked(as of 6-30-03). It does not hurt to ask, but I don't know how they could allow this or many would make these type of changes.

We questioned about changing the FTP from one resort to another about 2 weeks ago. We are going July 5th.

One, we were in the 45 day period, any change would cost additional monies. Not sure if I remember my wife saying $60.00
was the amount.

Second, the hotels we were interested in were booked up anyway.

I suggest calling as soon as possible. The people answering the phones have said they are very busy with this package so rooms could be extremely limited.
