With all the rules now, Can I make 2 adrs for one night and cancel 24 hours ahead of time?

You will not be able to make two reservations online under the same name that are within 2-3 hours of each other. The system will cancel one automatically. When it works.

You can make two reservations by calling if your party wants to split up. Disney is trying to discourage the practice of making multiple reservations with the intent of keeping only one of them ultimately, because you are indecisive about where you want to eat.

If that's what you want to do, be aware it's a hot topic on this board.

No. The system won't allow you to, and if they figure out that both ADRs are yours (like if you use 2 different names) one or both could be cancelled.

You couldn't do it with all the rules before either, and this is why we all have to guarantee with a CC now. Better put your flame suit on -- people don't like this practice. It might mean a table goes unused when a family could have used that slot.

I have two planned right now for our night of arrival. They are 1.5 hours apart. It let me do it. I do plan to cancel one several days ahead of time. We are driving in and when I booked them I wasn't sure of our arrival time. I figured someone will be happy to have me cancel last minute. Due to cancellation fees, I won't let it go un-used. Someone will snag it.

Thanks don't want to start any issues. I just don't know what we are planning.

Yes and no. Yes, if you use the app. No, if you use the computer. For some reason the app is a little more off.

I know this because I was not sure which park we would be at that far ahead of time so I made 2 reservations. I only held them for a week or so until I could talk to my travel party and get a consensus.

I also did this when I had a mysterious ADR for SAI that was impervious to cancelation. It kept telling me it could not be cancelled online...so I tried cancelling on the computer via making a new ADR. The box popped up asking if I wanted to cancel the current one, YES! Got to the very end and...call to cancel. So I just made a reservation for a new time, about 1.5 hours after the original, and then called to cancel the old time.

Shocking but the system is very glitchy. I currently have 3 different nights with 2 reservations. One is 15 minutes apart, the other are an hour. Didn't mean for it to happen but it never asked if I wanted to cancel them when I went to book the new ones?? Weird. It has only happened those three times though out of 13 days of reservations. I will be cancelling and figuring things out soon, I leave in 9 days!

I booked all of them online, same account and name that is linked to it. Just an FYI.
