Can You Load a Gift Card onto a Specific Magic Band?

My daughter received a couple of disney gift cards for her birthday, and I was wondering if I can load that money on to her magic band specifically so she can purchase the Disney memorabilia she wants?

From what I've read, you can, but it seems not all Cast Members know how to do it.

Just ask at check-in. If no luck, try the concierge desk.

Do check at the desk at your hotel. Those clerks seem better set to handle that bit of programming than anyone else we spoke to a couple of weeks ago. If the first CM can't do it, make sure you go back letter and let somebody else take a whack at it.
