Can you keep your tickets to MVMCP

Do you know whether you can keep your tickets to MVMCP if you enter the park early for PS in Liberty Tree Tavern.

I like to keep my tickets but a friend who went before said that you can't keep them if you go in before 7pm.

Is she joking or is this true?

My recollection is that they were magnetic tape media (so they would know if already used) and that we did get to keep them.

We've had it happen both ways. In 2001 we entered the park after the event had started, and we got to keep our tickets. In 2002 we had a ps at CRT and didn't leave the park before MVMCP started. We had to trade our tickets for arm bands.

Last year we entered about 4:30pm, had no ps, got our wristbands at the turnstile and kept our tickets.
