My family of 5 can stay at the Dolphin (teachers rate) or at the Port Orleans riverside (visa deal) for just about the same price the first week of June. The Dolphin would be a little more because of roll away charge and $10 resort charge for the 5 nights. Is it worth it? We have never stayed at either and were wondering about the following:

1- better pool at which?

2- fastest transportation using buses?

3- restaurants for kids?

any other info would help- thanks so much.

1. The Grotto pool is really neat, but POR has a neat pool as well.

2. Both locations will have several stops for buses. But you will be within walking distance of Disney Studios and Epcot at the Dolphin.

3. At POR, you will have the food court which is pretty large with a good assortment of food. Also Boatwrights is very good. At Dolphin, you will have the Dolphin Fountain and Tubbi's. Plus you are close to Beaches and Cream, Cape May Restaurant at the BC (great character breakfast), Garden Grove Restaurant (which has a character breakfast and dinner).

We've stayed at the Swan about a year ago. We have one night at the Dolphin planned for NYE. These resorts aren't as Disneyfied as the regular Disney resorts, but they are close to lots of action.

me tinks that the kid stuff is realy portant betuz some older people just git da better one for da money:earseek:  :bitelip: :upsidedow :crazy2:
but i dont know wat the better hotel is
