Who do you all recommend I use for our wedding video. STVS video or A Magic Moment?

I hear a lot about STVS and not so much about A Magic Moment. Let me know what you all think!

I have no idea...I'm not using either. I decided to go with Apex media since they were running a special last month (I'm getting 2 cameras & 3 hrs for under $400!!). I have to admit that I was none too impressed with STVS but I'm in the minority here. I probably would've picked AMM if I didn't go with Apex.

I wasn't really thrilled with the sample dvd STVS sent me but I do like the samples he has online.

Right now I am leaning toward a magic moment, I just wish I could hear things about them. OOH I am going to check theknot boards and see what they say. I have not been on that website in ages. I will let you know what they say.

I have actually heard quite a few complaints about the customer service received with STVS... now none of it is from first hand experience but those reviews were enough to steer me in another direction. Good luck it is a tough decision and there are sooo many choices.

i have a moment to remember booked. they have been very prompt with emials and they are very resonable in price. i am having the bronze package with one additional cd. He has answered all of my questions and is very orgonaized. His samles were more impresive then stans to me. this is just my opinion. He is also doing a montage video with 60 pics for 100 dollars extra. good luck. all of these choices are so hard

I also did not like the sample sent by STVS.... I am using A Magic Moment. The prices were super reasonable too.

we're having A Magic Moment. I know STVS gets a lot of votes on these boards, but it's way beyond our budget. I'm not expecting great things from AMM but the price we're paying we'll get a basic record of our special time.

i looked at both and i like a moment to rmember packages better but both looked good in their examples

I have not had my wedding yet, but I have booked STVS and I must say the customer service I have had with Stan is impeccable He called me recently as Ihave decided to have a stylized DVD, he is going to come 2 hourse early and only charge me for an extra hour becasue he wants to get more footage so I will be pleased with the final product. he has also designed a water droplet effect, set to my music (see samples on website) for my intro as I too didn't like the samples he sent me. I am a very modern girl and I thought he may have been too traditional for me, but he is working with me to obtain exactly what I want. He will have fast cut editing on my DVD as he knows it is the style I want. I will say I was concerned when I received the demo but the stylistic approach I loved and he has stated I can basically have anything I want, just to tell him. I would highly recommend speaking to him, he is super sweet and very adaptable.

I was also a little disappointed when I saw the STVS video Stan sent but then I got on his site and found an absolutely beautiful tape so I called and spoke with him in person and he is soooooo nice and willing to work with you...I found most of the selections that he sent to be really corny but when I expressed my concerns he said he can create whatever I wanted as long as I am giving him feedback on what I want....he is so nice I would definately give him a call. In the end I decided to go with him

I so agree, corny, was the word I was looking for, I thought that when I saw the demo, but after watching some of his sneak peaks and listening to some of his ideas when I told him I wanted a more stylistic approach (kinda like Randy) he had loads of ideas and became quite excited at the possibility of shooting an intimate stylised wedding.
