My DS 9 and DD 7 have Heely's (the tennis shoe with one removeable wheel on each heel). They both are very good skaters and have mastered their Heely's rather quickly. They usually wear their Heely's when we are out and honestly they are very carefull to go very slow (the same pace as walking) when we are inside and are not flying around knocking into other people. I saw some kids at Six Flags with Heelys and now my kids want to wear their Heely's in the parks at WDW. Has anyone done this? or would a CM ask that you remove the wheel (as has happened at other places and then I have to carry 4 wheels in my purse with everything else). It just seems to me that this would not be alllowed for safety and liability reasons. Also, what is the terrain like at the parks? We went to the San Diego Zoo a few years ago and I guess I did realize before hand how "hilly" it would be. I felt like all day I was either walking up or walking down a hill and that there was not place that was ever level. We leave Friday for our first WDW vacation - Yippppeeeee! Thanks for all you help!

I know inline skates are NOT permitted at the parks (although they may be at the resorts), so I doubt that your kids will get much use out of their Heelys.
As far as the terrain goes, there are some gentle hills and slopes but they are not very noticeable, unless you are pushing a wheelchair. The worst slopes are on the monorail ramps.

Cast members are told that skates are not allowed, and that includes the ones that are built into shoes. If your wheels fold up into your shoes, that's acceptable, you don't have to remove the wheels.
